CAPITALS, (SANA)- The Syrian community in Lebanon on Sunday organized a mass rally in solidarity with Syria in the face of terrorism and the US, Israeli, western and Arab campaign against it. A number of Lebanese figures and representatives of the national powers and parties took part in the rally.

The participants expressed rejection of the foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs, hailing the sacrifices of the Syrian army to defend Syria and its people and to cleanse the homeland from the armed terrorist groups which tampered with its security and stability.

They appreciated Russia and China stances in supporting Syria against the flagrant conspiracy targeting it, noting that the stances of the two countries reflect commitment to the UN charter in regard to respecting the sovereignty of the countries.

Meeting a delegation of the Syrian community and the Lebanese national powers at the Russian Embassy in Lebanon, Russian Ambassador Alexander Zasypkin reiterated his country's firm stance towards the crisis in Syria, expressing rejection of all forms of foreign interference in Syria's internal affairs.

Zasypkin stressed importance of the national dialogue among the Syrians.

Meanwhile, the Syrian students in Slovakia thanked Russia for its principled and balanced stance towards Syria in the face of the US-Zionist conspiracy hatched against it which aims at undermining its national and pan-Arab stances.

Visiting the Russian Embassy in Bratislava, the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) Branch delegation sent a letter of gratitude to Russia and the Russian people for their support to solve the crisis in Syria on basis of comprehensive national dialogue and the reform process launched by the Syrian leadership.

The Syrian students hailed the remarkable role of the Russian media in exposing the conspiracy against Syria and attempts of the armed terrorist groups and those who backed them to undermine Syria's stability and security as well as its contribution to divulging the fabrication and misleading campaign directed by the instigative channels against Syria as "a flagrant violation of the media humanitarian and ethical laws".
